TRACK - Good 4 Rail +3m - Good weather outlook for the meeting with no rain predicted and light winds. Rail was true for the last meeting and horses were winning from numerous lanes and settling positions. Hopefully we see the same tomorrow.



BEST BET - R10 #10 PHARARI $2
Get out stakes, race 10, number 10, what can go wrong here? She was well backed here a fortnight ago, when everything that could go wrong, went wrong. She was slow away, found traffic problems in the straight, yet still savaged the line with the fastest L200m of the entire meeting. If she turns up with better manners tomorrow, from barrier 1, she looks very well placed and can atone. 

VALUE BET - R1 #11 MONTE KATE $9.5/2.75 1x3
She's been very consistent for Price Racing this time in and she did it the hard way last start, travelling 3 wide no cover for most of the event. The favourite had a much better run in transit, while winner Unique Ambition got the run of the race, so I thought it was fantastic effort. If she can run 1400m, which I expect she can, she looks a touch of value in a winnable Midway.

TRACK - Good 4 Rail True - Good weather expected throughout raceday. The rail comes in from the last meeting which should give every horse the chance to find the best ground. Expecting a fair day of racing.



BEST BET - R3 #6 A LITTLE DEEP $3.30
Mr Brightside and Broadsiding look the key plays on the program but this mare represents good value gaining the services of Mark Zahra and again drawing the inside on a day where the rail gets back to true. She is a proper horse with 5 wins, 4 placings from 10 career starts and a fast, dry Caulfield looks ideal. 

VALUE BET - R9 #6 STAR PATROL $7.5/2.25 1x3
He's a dynamic fresh sprinter this bloke and his jumpout leading in was the best piece of work I have seen him put in for quite some time. He led under light riding and extended through the post running away from a competitive field. Dry deck, Melham knows the horse, his best is good enough to beat these and I am trusting my eye here.

I am happy to forgive Raj's last start effort after doing a mountain of work to find the front in a competitive Dubbo Cup. He also had a one eyed blinker applied for the first time, which comes straight off tomorrow so there were a few notable excuses. He gets his chance to bounce back from barrier 3, with Benny Osmand taking 3kg off. He will look to roll forward and utilise the draw on a dry deck. He's been competitive in these Tab Highways to date and this looks a weaker edition on paper. His best form would have him a top 3 hope, albeit, his last start was disappointing so we hope to see the best Raj tomorrow.



R4 - 1800m GROUP 3 GLOAMING STAKES - DUE CALZINI $71/12

Our son of D'argento, a 2023 Magic Millions purchase for $60,000 tackles a Group 3 tomorrow and what a thrill for everyone involved! Danielle and the team have done an outstanding job with him who continues to improve each and every start. He has had two very strong Tab Highway performances, against older, more seasoned horses this time in, so he deserves his chance at this level back against his own age. He's a horse who has always looked like he would appreciate more ground and we hope to see him park in the running line tomorrow and hit the line late. This is a strong edition of the Gloaming Stakes in comparison to previous years and he takes on some very nice, extremely well bred horses (Duvana $800,000 , Henlein $300,000 , El Castello $220,000 , Tenbury Wells $250,000). There is a stack to gain tomorrow and nothing to lose!



KEMBLA GRANGE
R4 - 1200m PROVINCIAL CLASS 1 - SUNRISE $7

Sunrise looked the winner last start at Nowra having led from pillar to post but was caught right on the line by a more experienced galloper. She has been building since arriving from NZ and is heading in the right direction. She finds a very competitive Provincial Class 1 on the home track tomorrow and Smashing Time looks very hard to beat from the Price Racing stable. Invade And Conquer and Mah Ali also have good runs on the board to date, but we will look to roll forward and the way she has trained on from her last start performance, she will be very competitive!
