TRACK - Rated a soft 5 as of Friday morning but with no rain predicted Friday evening right through race day we can expect improvement to a good 4. Rail a fortnight ago was true and it goes out 3m today. I am expecting a very fair deck tomorrow and races to be tempo related, if the speed is on every horse gets their chance, if it's not, expect on speed horses to be advantaged.

Group 1 winning mare who has trialled in outstanding order leading into her 1st up assignment on Saturday in top class company. She has shown her ability to win races over further ground, but I suspect she has been trained as a sprinter this preparation, with a potential eye on an Everest slot if she performs? Jmac has been aboard both trials and she was outstanding winning the Group 2 Arrowfield fresh last preparation.

I thought he was outstanding late last start and should get a very soft run in transit here, behind a very hot speed. There is genuine speed drawn wide and in the middle so they will scoot along and I expect him to be strong late when exposed. Dry track suits.

TRACK - Rated a soft 5 as of Friday morning but there was rainfall today. Expect the track to be genuine soft and the rail goes from true to +5m here. Played fair last meeting, I expect an on pace advantage tomorrow with the rail out +5 and a drying deck throughout the meeting.

This 3yo I Am Immortal filly comes out the Blue Stratum/ Last Druid race that I'm keen to follow from the Valley last meeting. She was slow away but savaged the line, finds an extra furlong here getting out to 1200m which suits from an inside barrier. Blake Shinn to steer, she looks a future star for mine and a touch of overs here.

He was very good sectionally late last start and I think he has a real good level of fitness now, 4th up, 2nd time round the Moonee Valley circuit, drawn a perfect alley with Jamie Kah aboard, who does ride this track well.

10 runs this preparation, $55,000 in prizemoney for connections and having his 3rd run in 21 days - Hank the tank has been thriving since getting back onto dry tracks and is loving his work. He has to take his home track form and reproduce at Randwick now as he steps up in grade but he should get his favoured tempo (fast in run) and can settle closer from barrier 5 tomorrow.
We believe he has the ability to win a Midway, whether tomorrow is the day, being deep into a preparation and on another 7 day back up, time will tell, but he will be putting his hand up at the furlong and giving us all a shout! A day out at Randwick tomorrow, will be a great experience for next preparation, where we expect to see him tackling numerous Midways.
